I’m Rashell, and I’ve proudly served as a registered nurse at Cone Health for over seven years. Nursing isn’t just a job for me; I’ve known that I wanted to be a nurse since I was five years old.

Growing up in a family affected by mental illness, I saw firsthand the need for advocates in our community. That’s why I’m passionate about going above and beyond for our patients, whether it’s helping them find housing, ensuring they have access to their medications or arranging transportation. It’s my way of leaving a positive impact on the community that I also grew up in.

What makes Cone Health special is the incredible teamwork we have here. We’re more than just colleagues. We’re a cohesive unit that communicates well and tackles challenges together. When faced with difficult situations, my team trusts me to step in and do what I do best. The support we have empowers us to deliver exceptional care every day.

Thanks to the guidance and encouragement from our leadership team, I’ve grown so much in my role. Knowing that I’m making a difference in my community and positively impacting the lives of our patients fills me with joy.
