An injury prevention coalition

Safe Guilford works to help families and communities keep kids and older adults safe from accidental injuries and deaths in Guilford County. Surprisingly, preventable injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the United States. Additionally, 1 in 4 people age 65 and older falls each year and many of these falls cause injury, loss of independence and in some cases, death. Through outreach activities and education, our team and volunteers work each day to keep people safe.

Safe Guilford is part of the Moses Cone Hospital Trauma Center 

and relies on volunteers and inter-agency collaboration for its success.

Safe Guilford is also the proud leader of Safe Kids Guilford County.
