My first experience with Cone Health was as a patient during my freshman year of college. The staff treated me with so much care and respect. I decided then that I would one day work within the organization. I achieved my goal and was hired as a Patient Access Specialist, and I have worked my way up to my current role of Talent Acquisition Consultant.

I am passionate about educating people about the talent acquisition space and am also a huge advocate for community work. In my personal time, I work as a math and reading tutor for second graders, and serve as the president of a memorial scholarship fund on behalf of my grandmother. Cone Health also provides me with opportunities to drive change, share my voice, and impact the community through the work that we do.

I learned about the Black African American Healthcare Network Group (B.A.H.N.G.!) when I first started working at Cone Health, and have been an active member ever since. Through B.A.H.N.G.!, we provide health information and free health screenings to people in our communities and local universities. We complete many impactful projects, not only in the community, but also across Cone Health. It’s so fulfilling and rewarding to be a part of B.A.H.N.G.! and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
