Aaron P.
MRI Technician

For nearly two decades, I’ve been working as an MRI Tech at Cone Health. A broken arm when I was 15 years old launched my interest in taking care of people. The X-ray tech who took care of me left a big impression. It was like a light bulb went off in my head - I wanted to be a part of the healthcare field.
From that moment on, I set my sights on radiology. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about healthcare, especially when you’re directly involved with patients. Every day, I know that I have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. It’s not always easy, as most people don’t end up in the hospital because they want to be there. Being able to bring a small sense of comfort or relief to them during their time of need is very rewarding.
What sets Cone Health apart for me is its unwavering commitment to putting the patient first. It’s not just about running tests or performing procedures; it’s about understanding that each person who walks through those doors is someone’s loved one, someone who deserves the best care possible. Being part of a team that shares strives to make a positive impact on our community fills me with pride.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to work at Cone Health, where compassion and patient-centered care are at the heart of everything we do. It’s more than just a job; it’s a calling, a chance to give back to my immediate community in a meaningful way.
