ANALOG: Feasibility and Efficacy Study of the CardioPulmonary Management (CPM) System in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Patient Information

The purpose of this study is to support the hypotheses that the use of cardiopulmonary monitoring system with heart failure patients can reduce the rate of heart failure related events and reduce the costs of hospitalizations with these events. The monitoring device can monitor and manage chronic heart failure patients at home by detecting physiologic signals suggestive of decompensation. The signals can be used to prevent hospitalizations by adjusting medical therapy for the patient. The potential benefits of this study are important to the patients and physicians. The patient can benefit from close observation at home and reduced hospitalizations for heart failure. The physicians can benefit from understanding how the monitoring system words and how to utilize for more efficient treatment for the patients.
