Patient Information

Balance is a double blind, placebo controlled phase 3 study of Akcea-APOCIII-LRX administered subcutaneously to patients with familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS). The study will evaluate the efficacy of the agent as compared to placebo in the percent change in fasting triglycerides (TG) from Baseline in a population with confirmed genetic testing of the condition, and history of pancreatitis within the past ten years.
