Patient Information

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a home based infusion device for the delivery of a subcutaneous (under the skin) diuretic (Furoscix) in patients with chronic heart failure and fluid overload. This is an open label, randomized study comparing a novel device to usual care which will measure the ability of the device to reduce the need for heart failure hospitalization and need for an urgent emergency room or clinic visit.
