Patient Information

The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of the VITARIA™ system when added to stable, guideline-directed medical therapy for patients with heart failure and reduced heart muscle function. Patients with symptomatic heart failure will be randomized 2:1 compared to usual treatment to receive this device with results in vagus nerve stimulation, which has been shown to restore autonomic balance, reduce inflammation, and provide functional benefit in patients with heart failure.
