Patient Information

This trial is evaluating the use of bempedoic acid 180 mg vs. a placebo in overall cholesterol reduction. It works like a statin to reduce cholesterol without the statin side effects of muscle aches and joint pain. This is a world-wide study enrolling 12,700 patients. This is a 3-3½ year study.
