Safe Guilford works to help families and communities keep kids and older adults safe from accidental injuries and deaths in Guilford County. Surprisingly, preventable injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the United States. Additionally, 1 in 4 people age 65 and older falls each year and many of these falls cause injury, loss of independence and in some cases, death. Safe Guilford relies on volunteers and inter-agency collaboration for its success. Through outreach activities and education, our team and volunteers work each day to keep people safe.
